Selling Pictures of Your Feet to Make Money

Thanks to Tyler for sending in a side hustle suggestion for Feet Finder. He said, “Type in feet finder on google and sign up to sell feet pics. I was interested to see if an ordinary person can make money doing that.”

Damon and I are all about taking one for the Penny Stupid Project team and testing your side hustle suggestion to separate the winner from the losers.

When Tyler suggested Feet Finder, I raised my hand and volunteered to be the tester. Who knows what kind of kinky people are into my old feet?

What is Feet Finder?

Under the heading, there is a person interested in just about anything. Feet Finder caters to people with an emotional affinity to foot pictures. I’m not judging.

Feet Finder has a website at FeetFinder.com. On their site, they describe themselves as “the most convenient website for verified users to buy or sell custom foot content in a safe and secure environment.” – Source.

I’ll take them at their word on that claim. You can do the rebuttal research if you want to.

The Science Behind the Attraction to Feet

It’s still a mystery why people are attracted to feet. Similar to other forms of sexual fetishism, no consensus has yet been established about the specific causes of foot fetishism. While many works on the topic exist, their conclusions are often highly speculative. In a general sense, sexual fetishism can be caused by many factors, but no singular cause for any fetishism has been conclusively established. So nobody really knows why people are into feet pictures.

I can only imagine people are interested in paying for feet pictures because they have some form of a pronounced sexual interest in feet. For a foot fetishist, points of attraction may include the shape and size of feet, feet soles, toes, jewelry (e.g., toe rings, anklets, etc.), state of dress (barefoot, flip flops, ballet flats, sandals, high heels, hosiery, socked feet, etc.).

How to Get Started With FeetFinder.com

According to the Feet Finder site, this side hustle might require more than you are willing to invest in time and exposure.

From watching the video above, the advice is you have to spend time taking pictures of your feet, including your face, and be willing to title, describe, and tag your photos so people can find them. This is where I punched out. Nobody wants to see my face with some old feet in the frame.

I have no idea why the instructor in the Feet Finder video is sitting in what appears to be a hotel room. Odd. The voice in my head imagined, “While we are here, let’s knock out a quick porno as well.”

Becoming a foot picture seller requires you to pay to be a subscriber and pay $4.99 a month or $14.99 a year. You will also need to provide personal information to become ID verified.

Some Things to Consider Before Jumping in With Both Feet (Heh)

One of the side hustles I have a lot of experience with is selling stock photos and videos. If you’ve never been involved in selling digital content online, it’s a grind.

The time it takes to build a catalog of good content can be a super time drain. However, the time you invest will hopefully pay off one day if the site doesn’t vanish and buyers don’t steal your content and resell it. It can happen.

It might seem all you have to do is snap a picture of your feet and upload it to your Feet Finder account. Poof, someone puts their best foot forward (I can’t stop myself) and buys your picture.

But as the hotel Feet Finder instructor said in the video above, you have to treat this as a job and invest the time in coming up with titles, descriptions, and keywords that buyers will be looking for.

“The more work you put into it, the more you’re going to get out.”

And while I said it’s a grind to sell photos and videos online, the newbie might not appreciate how mind-numbing it is to be creative with unique descriptions and keywords for every media file you upload. I’m not saying it is impossible. It’s just not a slam dunk. I’ve even hired experts to do this for my photos and videos, and the results were not great.

Photographer Nicole Glass has some excellent tips on keywording for general stock photo uploads. The advice applies to your feet pictures as well.

Nicole gives some quick tips on keywording, but you’ll probably have to get even more creative and specific to help potential buyers find your fotos (I know, ph).

What Does Feet Finder Promise Foot Photographers?

After reading the Buyer / Seller Agreement on the Feet Finder site, the selling agreement seems to leave Feet Finder out of the equation and instead connects the horny buyer with the calloused seller.

The agreement says, “This standard agreement between the Buyer and the Seller sets out the terms that govern each transaction between a Buyer and a Seller on FeetFinder.” It also says, “The only parties to this agreement are the Buyer and Seller participating in the Buyer/Seller Transaction. FeetFinder is not a party to this agreement.”

That’s not the only relevant agreement. The Feet Finder site also has terms of service that apply to all parties.

We first learn that Feet Finder is part of FLRT, Inc. This company registered in Nevada on February 14, 2022. The company president is Patrick Nelson. “How you doin’.”

Some key observations from the Terms of Use Agreement:

  • Any disputes must be settled by arbitration.
  • “You must obtain and keep on record written consent from all persons (including yourself) depicted in your User Contributions specific to the following areas: (a) consent to be depicted in the User Contribution; (b) consent to allow for the public distribution of the User Contribution and to upload the User Contribution to the Website; and (c) if the User Contribution will be made available for downloading by other users, consent to have the User Contribution downloaded. In addition, you must verify the identity and age of all persons depicted in the User Contributions to ensure that all persons depicted are adults, and you must be able to provide us with supporting documents on request.”
  • “To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, we will not be liable to you for any unauthorized copying, use, or distribution of your User Contributions by third parties, and you hereby release and forever waive any claims you may have against us for any such unauthorized copying or use of the User Contributions, under any equitable or legal theory.”

The Terms of Use Agreement is comprehensive and will answer many questions you might have before agreeing to upload and sell your foot photos.

Feet Finder Reviews

Here is what some other actual users had to say about their experience.

Feet Finder Isn’t the Only Feet Pic Selling Site

If you are interested in selling feet pics, there are sites like Only Fans.

Conclusion

If taking pictures of your feet sounds interesting, this might be a side hustle because you find it fun. However, having a Feet Finder account will probably not let the money rain. Most people will most likely stumble.

Feet Finder says they are putting money into promoting the site and trying to attract buyers. That’s a positive note. It might help to generate sales. Time will tell.

It will take some hard work researching keywords, writing good descriptions, and promoting your feet pic channels on other locations, like social media sites.

Sitting back and thinking this will be an easy gig by just uploading random sexy feet pics is like becoming a Lyft driver and never leaving the curb. Your results will suck.

After reviewing the business of selling feet pics, I decided the outcome would not be worth the time and energy to start generating content and feeding the pipeline. While I was willing to take one for the team, carefully evaluating this as a good side hustle didn’t add up based on the time drain.

If you decide to go all in on Feet Finder, please post an update in the comments. I want to hear from you.
